Tinnin says he wishes Mason would pay him for that rope, but Mason says if he did he wouldn't have any money to buy hay with.

Everybody take your shot-gun to Hyannis the 3rd of July and enjoy a little practice shooting at the blue rock; cash prizes will be given.

If anyone should happen to ask you, just tell them we need about sixty-eight cents worth of rain. I expect we will get it in haying time.

Everybody reported a good time at the Stansbie dance, last Friday, but the mosquitoes were very numerous, making it very unpleasant.

Tom Stansbie says he will not do a thing to the one that said he was married. Well, I don't blame him as we all have heard that it was an error.

We understand that people are prophesying that the Mother Lake ball team is just the same as a boat but they will have to show us as we are from Missouri.

Ira Hawk and Elmer lawson were up to see Miss Dye, Sunday, as the latter left for Ord, Neb., Monday morning on 42, where she will visit until after the 4th.
