Mother Lake.

A windmill adorns the ranch of Bob Stansbie.

Henry Thompson has relinquished his pre-emption to J.F. Nolan.

Mr. John Stansbie and family have returned to Cambridge, Nebr.

Mrs. Nolan and daughter, of Frontier county, are visiting Mrs. R.W. Stansbie.

H.A. Thompson will visit his parents and relatives in Frontier county shortly.

Bob Stansbie and H. Thompson took in Hyannis Saturday night and Sunday.

Ed. Mason is expected at the ranch soon with several hundred head of Iowa cattle.

Mr. John F. Nolan, of Frontier county, brother of Mrs. Robt. Stansbie, has located in this neighborhood. Mr. N. is a thoroughbred cattle man, being raised in the saddle and has been inthe stock business all his life. He has been in Montana and the British possessions, in fact all the stock countries, but says he likes this country better than any he has seen yet for the stock business.
