Martindale Musings.

J.W. Shackelford and family visited at Mr. Wade's Sunday.

Herb Knox, the Ashby liveryman, was in this vicinity, Saturday.

A.O. Ormsby is having lumber hauled for the erection of a pool hall.

L.A. Brown was driven out from Ashby, last Saturday, by Liveryman Knox.

Mrs. Chas. Kline made a trip up in the vicinity of King postoffice last Saturday.

J.T. Martin has started improvements on his homestead over eight miles east of Martindale.

The dance on January 31st proved to be a great success as there was a large crowd and everybody enjoyed themselves.

It is reported that J.O. Martin has again traded for the stock of merchandise and will continue in business at the old stand.

Thomas Stansbie and wife decided, last Saturday morning, to take in the sights at the principal cities of the United States. So they autoed to Hyannis, Ashby and Martindale, and then decided that they had seen about all that was worth seeing, so returned home.
